I've installed ARTIO JoomSEF 4.6.8 to test your product.

We would like to generate Meta-Tags for Virtuemart Products and we expect that it gets the Product-Name and Product-Description and automatically generates the Meta-Tags.

It does not look like "Manage Meta Tags" function does not support what we need because it seems to be based on URLs.

Which Product do we need to create Meta-Tags from Virtuemart Product-Name and Description?
Is there a demo / lite Edition?

Its strange, last night, JoomSEF displayed no Joomla articles in "Manage Meta Tags" but only the URL Filters, therefore I thought that this function is just another URL Meta Tag Generator.

Today, JoomSEF displayed in "Manage Meta Tags" Joomla articles :-)

But this Question is still open:
Does JoomSEF "Manage Meta Tags" support Virtuemart Products?
In JoomSEF "Manage Meta Tags" we can select "Virtuemart " in the Components Dropdown List, but it does not list any Virtuemart Product.

Hello,

please, try to read Joomsef documentation to you could better understand how JoomSEF works.
Meta Tags are generated with SEF URLs at one time so first you need to generate SEF URL (it si created by visiting pages at your webite) and this will work with your articles.
Also you need VirtueMart JoomSEF extension to you could have SEF URL also for VirtueMart pages.
