Just bought your component, I install it for the first first time and I get this when I try to access artio vm invoices:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function vmGet() in www/components/com_virtuemart/themes/vm_mynxx/user_class/ps_checkout.php on line 75

what I see there is:

$shipping_rate_id=urldecode(vmGet($_REQUEST,"shipping_rate_id"));

pls help

I'm using VM 1.1.8 and Joomla 1.5.22

I've been waiting all day for a replie or some help, I bought your component yesterday and I can't use it, is the only thing I want.. to make it work. My website works perfectly and I even had another component before for Invoices working without problems, I just thought yours was more professional for our company.

There are no support tickets or an email where users that payed the component get some support or something? cause I'm not going to pay support for something that doesn't work on first installation so please help or give money back.

How can you only have one person answering on this forum when I see a lot of people in your team?

Pls I only want the component I bought to work.

as you can see from the error message, the error is coming from some VirtueMart theme, not from VM Invoice component.

/homez.406/comenara/www/components/com_virtuemart/themes/vm_mynxx/

So I guess, there is some error in the theme when it tries to load non-defined function vmGet.
I do not see any relation with VM Invoice. I think the error is in the theme.

So I have my website perfectly working and tested and even with another component for invoice before yours that didnt cause a single problem, I can't access your component and the problem is from my template?

I don't understand why the hell does your component even need to access that page at all.

So as I can't use your component since I bought it can I get my money back as I see no one here willing to help me or can someone check my website admin?

Can you understand the frustration of paying for something that doesnt work for me?

I had extended attributes clicked, after unckecking that, your component in backend works but I can't see my website, I get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method ps_checkout::get_ship_rate_by_product() in /homez.406/comenara/www/components/com_virtuemart/themes/vm_mynxx/templates/common/price.tpl.php on line 28

$ship_price = $base_price + ps_checkout::get_ship_rate_by_product($product_id);

I had that file modified to change the display of price, I don't understand why your component has to be affected by that hack. Thats not fault of the template but your hack.

Just found a "solution"

com_vminvoice/helpers/vm_invoice.php

I removed line 25:
require_once (JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR . '/components/com_virtuemart/classes/ps_checkout.php');

That was causing the problem.

Please look into that.

well, I am afraid this is not VM Invoices "fault".

It seems that the vm_myxx tempalte redefines the default VirtueMart checkout class, but it does not define the get_ship_rate_by_product() method.

So it is "fault" of vm_myxx that it changes the default VM behaviour without keeping backward compatibility. There is nothing at the side of VM Invoice that could be changed to prevent this.

Removing the mentioned line will most likely cause wrong / not functional calculation of product transportation costs.
