ARTIO JoomSEF gets better! (1.4.0 available)

Ostrava, 20.02.2007 - Dear JoomSEF users, we are proud to announce the new 1.4.0 version release. In connection with this release, we would also like to announce the advertisement policy changes.

The new 1.4.0 version introduces new features that should help to reduce the number of generated URLs stored in DB in several ways. The main is possibility to ignore the Itemid or to reappend it to SEF URL. Also other often changing variables such as order, limit, offset, etc. may be now excluded from the URLs stored in DB.

Furthermore, the compatibility with extensions for SEF Advance and OpenSEF that provide not so nice URLs as JoomSEF does but on the other hand do not require storing in DB has been improved! For more details check the version change log or get your copy right away!

In connection with the new 1.4.0 release, we also wish to announce the Advertisement policy change.

According to latest agreements with Joomsef's development sponsors we are delighted to announce a rapid change in its advertising policy. From now on, only the latest version of Joomsef may (but does not have to) contain a sponsor's advertising - all previous versions available for download from our web will then be free of any sponsor links then. You are encouraged to download previous versions or make an donation for further development here.
