This component rewrites Joomla! URLs to be Search Engine Friendly (SEF) and provides other Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Tools. Multilingualism (more language versions, translated URLs) is supported via cooperation with JoomFish. Makes it possible to edit your meta-tags from one place. Upgrades will be easy and painless thanks to the new on-line update features. Extensive support of 3rd party components thanks to SEF Extension installer.
JoomSEF 2.x is compatible with Joomla! 1.0.x CMS. It cannot be used with Joomla 1.5.

Version 3.x series nativelly supports Joomla! CMS version 1.5.x.
It is not backward compatible with Joomla! 1.0.x CMS.
This free version adds backlink to the component authors to a site footer. To have the link removed, please, get a paid version. To get support with more complex or individual cases, you can buy support time.
