Expandibility, modules support
Built-in support of core Joomla modules and JoomFish. Also provides add-on interface, so 3rd party components SEF URL definitions can be added easily. Current there are available extensions which support AlphaContent, DocMan, Mosets Tree, JoomlaBoard, ReMOSitory, SMF (Simple Machine Forums) Bridge, SOBI2, VirtueMart and other components. Some of the extensions are provided for free, either as part of JoomSEF installation package or in downloads section of our web pages. Others can be found and purchased from our E-Shop or delivered by 3rd parties.
Compatibility
Current release (2.x) has been tested with Joomla! version 1.0.10-15 with JoomFish 1.7-1.8 installed, both on Windows and Linux systems. It supports both Apache and IIS servers (tested on IIS5 and IIS6).
Release 3.1.x is now compatible with Joomla! 1.5 in native mode. 3.x versions are not backward compatible with Joomla 1.0.
Version history
