JoomDOC allows uploaing files onto server, categorizing them into folders and configuring permissions using ACL. Each file may be associated with document, that adds meta information such as description and metatags. Users can download the document or edit them remotely*. Pro version also supports document versioning and fulltext search in different document types (PDF, text documents).

Editions and Licensing
JoomDOC 3 comes in several editions, both as free or paid component. Learn more about JoomDOC editions differences.
The Standard Free edition is provided under GPL license, others - Standard Paid and Pro editions - are provided under commercial license.
Upgrades from lower to higher editions will be available.
Compatibility
JoomDOC 3 is a Joomla 1.6 native document management component.
With small limitations it will also work on Joomla 1.5 CMS.
