Hi guys.
i am using the Joomsef free version on 4 sites and about to upgrade to the paid version BUT...
On on of my sites the meta tags are not working or not overwriting what i think is the systems tags.
I am running the latest version of joomasef and joomla.

Can anyone help with this?

Hello,

Make sure that System - ARTIO JoomSEF plugin is enabled, check the following options in JoomSEF's configuration on the Title and Meta Tags tab:
"Enable MetaData generation" must be On
"Rewrite keywords" should be On
"Rewrite description" should be On

and make sure that there's no other plugin interfering with JoomSEF.

I have the same problem but unfortunately these options don't appear to me in the tab:

I have others from the 3.99 version.

I have: Enable Meta Tags management, Metadata auto-generation: and others.

I can edit the metadata on some of them but not all of them. I don't understand why
please help

The configuration options have been renamed in the meantime. Make sure that the following settings are set:
Enable Meta Tags management: Yes
Prefer JoomSEF titles: Yes
Meta-keywords preference: Prefer JoomSEF
Meta-description preference: Prefer JoomSEF
