Greetings. I have JoomSEF installed and working well. My question though is I have a page where the original URL was cancers-br-treatments that I have changed to cancers-&-treatments.

However any item that gets published to this menu item (I have category mode turned off, using K2 extension) the URL of each item is still mysite.org/cancers-br-treatments/itemnameblah.html

Any way I get all items to take the new, updated (cancers-&-treatments) URL title?

Apologies in advance if my terminology is not correct, this SEO platform within Joomla is advanced enough where I'm a very young newbie with it.

My question though is simple even if I'm using incorrect terms. :)

I am needing to create redirects for old Joomla articles on our current site to the new articles on the Joomla K2 site. The problem is the URLs between the sites do not match because our old site lists Joomla ID numbers in the URL and JoomSEF doesn't (even if it did, the numbers are completely different because they are now K2 items).

Is there anyway I can put in parameters for redirect? For instance, can I point the current www.xyz.org/news/6120-story to www.xyz.org/news on my new site? Keeping in mind that URL with the id number doesn't technically exist on my new site because it's now a K2 item.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I simply don't even know where to look for this detailed problem.
