well suppose a user would submit an item (article, image gallery, blog entry, file repository) that is part of a series, 'item-title-part-1' though to 'item-title-part-x'
with the current format it would not be too clear what the ID is:
category/item-title-part-1-23
thus I'd rather see the ID being obviously separated from the item title
category/23/item-title-part-2
especially if you allow for a user to linking to another item by entering the ID with the html generating the link it would be more obvious to them what the ID is

Hi there,
I'm having a pre purchase question about this extension
I have currently 3 joomgallery related menu items:
component link:
index.php?option=com_joomgallery (itemID 19)
link to categry 1:
index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=viewcategory&catid=2&Itemid=20
link to category 2:
index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=viewcategory&catid=2&Itemid=21
the uri type links to the categories require its own itemID to being added so when active the moomenu item would be highlighted as active
my question:
with only J! SEO turned the pathway of any of the above links would revert to 'Home' only and the selected menu item is not being highlighted anymore
is this also the case with the Joom extension installed or is the pathway appropriately built and the active menu item being highlighted?

is there an extension that works with more recent version of remository. the one in here requires com_remository_settings.php which does not exist in more recent versions

also legacy mode is required for this to work in J1.5

hi there,
when installing artioJoom on a J1.5.10 session with Remository the following error occurs in frontend as soon as I turn on artio:
Warning: require_once(../components/com_remository/com_remository_settings.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in ../components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_remository.php on line 73
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../components/com_remository/com_remository_settings.php' (include_path='.:/opt/RZphp5/lib/php') in ../components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_remository.php on line 73
problem is that file com_remository_settings.php does not exist anymore in currently available versions of Remository
could this please be fixed? |
