well- we could always try opensef with artio patch for joomfish? anybody tried that already? an way opensef rc6 with joomfish support is about to be released i think. and joomla-heroes too bover oon joomla.org are convinced opensef is THE solution for sefUrls. We'll see. Support here seems to be weak. I got answers on opensef forums after short time. Here nobody seems to care. bad luck.. let's see how things are going. right now there is no proper opensource solutiona dn sefadvance seems buggy or problematic as well when i read up on it.

Hi Artio-Team!

I am running multilingual site.
My sections and categories are shown in the URL for section or category view, but when viewing a single article i only get mysite.com/language/section-name_number.htm
so the correct path is not shown. and just a number appended, and the article title is also not shown in the url.

Is it supposed to work like that?

thx

Your SEF solution works like a charm! perfectly!
I have it running without problems with Joomfish, docman, menalto gallery and the urls are great!

Some things though:

1 the joomfish frontpage urls are created like this when choosing to always show language: www.domain.com/en/
although i had also selected to make all pages all index.html.
so the created urls lead to a restricted access page and i manually had to modified all my three language frontpage urls to read like this -> www.domain.com/en/index.html
i just appended index.html to each url. now everything works fine.

2 special characters: there is an option to replace all special characters with one character to define- that makes some url look ugly. i would like to define myself which character to display with what. i would like to replace for example ä with ae, ü with ue, í with i, é with e, ñ with n and so on. and then the current definition to replace all the rest not specified characters with one constant character.
Could you quickly implement that?

3 Whenn I define custom url for a category then the articles in that category should also use that custom url automatically, right? The problem is the insufficient nesting of categorie in joomla. i have a menustructure that creates a hierarchy like this: blog some sections/blog one section/blog one category/content
if i now turn JoomSef on it only creates a url that has a depth of three: section/category/article... so i put the extra words for the "blog some sections" extra in a custom sef url for the category. but the content articles do not automatically take that url with depth of 4 but insted display section/category/article again.
Thus i say it should be automated that if a section has a custom url category should append to that url and if a category has a custom url, articles should append to that url, don't you think?

Cheers.
Looking forward to more great stuff from you!
