I 'had' to reply one more time to point you to some stuff.

Hello,
we are ok to provide you with refund, in case that:
1. you state clearly what does not work
2. there is no configuration option how to fix it

1. we did many times, clearly
2. there isn't since it is a multistore with each store on its own domain

jan wrote:
We have asked you this many time, but I have not seen a simple statement what is the problem, only general answers of type "it does not work".

Do you actually read emails and support forums, or only sales questions?

We want to improve this software and it is not an easy task as every server environment is a bit different.

Are we paid betatesters, or clients of a so called finished product?

You are really getting on our nerves.

www.artio.net/support-forums/m-turbo/mag...statichtml-sh/page-2

3 WEEKS AGO:
I have the same "too small or 404 error" message on clearly existing frontpage.
All seems to be setup just fine though. Any pointers where to look?

In addition to the above:
I am testing a multistore, on another domain than the admin.

These are our base dir settings, i assume these are right, or do they need a special prefix like magento config does with multistores?
/usr/www/virtual/in2/www.ADMINSITE.com/mage15

Tested site is here:
/usr/www/virtual/in2/www.MULTISTORESITE.com/

Please advise.

2ND POST SAME THREAD
I noticed the only store that had a cache page made is the first one in the list, top one on the websites tab. It is stored in the var/... directory, htaccess does not yet take care of actually using the page.

The other stores have the same setup and details (server, path).

When i try to make the htaccess for all stores/pages the admin url goes error 500.

I assume this htaccess in the main Magento admin directory will eventually hold all rewrite conditions for the multistores, right? Or do the htaccess files in each individual url have to be edited?

SAME THREAD, TWO WEEKS AGO

I'll reply to myself then ...

We have more than one URL per website (each storename is a seperate website), this does not work on our end and made our website unreachable for a while these past days.

I am not saying this script is the cause, but it is the only thing we're working with now.

I had hoped this would work out of the box, unfortunately it does not. The lack of support here doesn't help.

No tutorial on multistores under Websites. Only per website.

Another question before we'd like a refund:
Servername is added (not in screenshots, are in admin area), when we enter the name of the server, it is different from what is default filled in there (which we only saw after we UNinstalled, after which it installed itself again?!?). What was filled in was the URL (no www), is this what you use as servername, or does it need th eREAL servername what we filled in?

Either way, we've been trying for days to get it to work on our stores, we ended up with broken stores for two days:-(
Either our fault or well, not ...

Any chance of an explanation to multistores, or do we have to call it quits?

BY NOW YOU LOST US AS A CLIENT:

Ok, we had to spend each morning (including today) troubleshooting the 503 errors that were caused by this. We completely uninstalled twice now (no idea why it wasn't gone after first try), hoping it will not come back and it will not break our store again tomorrow.

Your lack in communication did not help, we're getting a refund.

YOU NEVER ENTERED THIS THREAD.

I'm not even going into other forums where we posted and our unanswered emails, since this is your OWN forum and you do not even attend to issues. You DID however answer NEW clients who WANT to BUY your software promptly.

Note that we did pay you 79$ to have these converations about it. It was for working software, which we never got. Not a problem if you take more note to what clients write, want, need.

Can i send you an invoice too for all the hours spend getting this sorted? If you had just talked with unhappy clients and use them to get your program fixed, you would have a good reputation and more clients in the future. You're trwing in your own windows buddy.

We just want our money back, nothing more nothing less.
1. i asked if we can if it did not comply to our needs, it did not
2. we friendly asked for it, many times
3. we went to Paypal to start a claim
4. you still do not answer.
5. you cannot oblige people to keep using your program when it clearly is not compatible to our needs

If you want to keep the 79euro to feel happy for 'stealing', please do. However please notice more people are unhappy with your way of working with paying clients. More unhappy clients will make sure you never sell another copy again by complaining everywhere you are trying to sell this. To each his own.

I know programmers who take notice to their customers requests, make a lot more money in the end.

Good luck to you.

To inveritas:

Yes, it is true. Only website can have own htaccess. However, the layout 'more websites - more root dirs and more htaccess' I see last long time ago. Today the most Magento installations has only one root directory and thus only one htaccess.

The rules in the htaccess manages the rewrite directives by storeview codes, only the rewrite directives for default storeviews may be manages by server name. If you have two storviews with different urls on one website then there is something wrong in your settings. However, MTurbo builds htaccess correctly. I can not rule out that you have any specific settings. This is true what each server is unique.

We have one Magemto root, differrent urls for each store view.

Anyway, could you please also answer our question about the refund? We sent an email about a day ago.

I'm almost 100% sure you can use on many (provided that it works). But please read up on it first, it is on his product webpage. I do NOT work for this product.

In theory, unlimited if i read it correctly. However, if you have your storeviewson different url's you're gonna be disappointed.

Only websites can have their own htaccess, storeviews cannot.

Correct me if i am wrong.

Sidenote: We lost LOTS OF potential clients past 8 hours due to sudden 503 errors in the main two stores we own:-/ -> FIXED BY CLEARING CACHE.
