I have a website which I am in the process of uploading 8.5 million parts as its a component part website,

www.electroniccomponents.org.uk

What I wanted to ask is in the joomsef component I can see it generating around 8200 sef urls every 24 hours, my question is - is there any way of speeding this up as I'm sure with 8.5 million it is going to take a lifetime and were worried it might have an effect with our google indexing and ranking, well that is of course if there is the need to not worry,

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for replying, if I show you both my sites one is a test site which is not built as yet but does have the jbjobs component in it.

The above has joomsef paid but is not working correctly as you will see if you click a link.

However.

www.omgrecruitment.com/

The above also has joomsef but the free version and is working perfectly on all sides, which I find really weird.

But yes I think we perhaps keep coming back to the fact jbjobs needs and extension that is downloadable, so please we are in desperate need of this to get our jobs board going.

Please let us know what you need from us.

Ok, have read it and re read it like I have all your faqs.

Have also tried changing the extensions handler to no avail, even tried them all still not working.

My issue is the component is the only point of the website therefore if no sef for jbjobs then no point in sef what so ever.

I am now assuming its due to the extension not being available, can you let me know what the course from here to get an extension added to the list for this.

But the weird thing is, on the free version everything works perfectly including the links you can see.

I have now removed and re installed the free version to my temp site to prove a point

which you can now see working.

So how can this be.

Ok, for now I have put it in another site which is for future development,

Ok, I have had little alternative but to turn this component off.

Unless I get support on this issue, I will speak to my accounts to get a full refund on paypal.

Again works perfectly on all links on free version, but once I upgrade to paid they break down.

Ok I have now upgraded to the paid version and have lost all the sef url's i set for two components in my site,

The modules on the front page that are now lost are as follows

JOBS BY COUNTY
JOBS BY CATEGORY

I have however still got the urls in the auto sef list as I locked them from being deleted when upgrading, however as you see by the fron page they now generate a red box 500 error as below.

Is there any chance of some help here as at the moment I'm pretty much having a conversation with myself lol

Ok I have now fully updated all my url's but I am still on the free version.

Is there any way i can upgrade to the paid version without loosing all my urls.

Please if you can update me as soon as. as if there is no way then I will have little choice but to continue on the free version and request a refund for the server package we bought.

The two components in question are

JOBS BY CATEGORY
JOBS BY COUNTY

If you look now all is fine, but if I upgrade it drops all the auto sef's and does not then populate them again.

Regarding the .htaccess its not changed as I took a copy then re uploaded it to ensure it was not that.

But as you can now see I have configured all the links and am now worried as soon as I upgrade to the paid it will loose all my work today.

Basically as you can see at our site www.omgrecruitment.com/ with the free version all is working perfect, however as soon as I upgrade to the paid version the components JOBS BY CATEGORY/JOBS BY COUNTY will not upgrade with the sef links like they are now.

Instead they stay as their component link which throws up a red box 500 error.

See I did think it was the .htaccess details but it cant be as the free version works perfectly well.

Since its seems we have to wait for like ever for a response, I will now proceed to un install the paid version and try again with the free version.

Not very happy considering we have just shelled out a huge amount of money for the server package.

If anyone has any ideas of the above please let me know here in hope i can get the paid for version running properly.

Firstly love the extension, however i have a problem.

Basically I had the free version installed and everything was working perfectly, I then thought yet want this after much testing, however since paying for the server version and upgrading to the paid version there are certain urls that will not work that were working on the free version.

Please if you go to www.omgrecruitment.com and click either a link on jobs by county or jobs by catagory you see the links are not working but they are in the automatic url list. however if you click one in latest jobs it works.

Please can you help as I really dont understand how the free version was working perfectly yet now I've upgraded its all fallen down.

Edit: I have had little choice but to turn it of for now as its effect the experience of my users and they are leaving the site.

Please if the admnis could help me here that would be great.
