Getting the following error after activating Joomsef

JoomSEF Error - Could not save the SEF URL to database: Unknown column 'host' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO `ght3w_sefurls` (`sefurl`, `origurl`, `priority`, `Itemid`, `trace`, `sm_indexed`, `sm_date`, `sm_frequency`, `sm_priority`,`locked`,`host`) VALUES ('', 'index.php?option=com_content&catid=2&id=1&view=article', '90', '101', NULL, '0', '2012-12-07', 'weekly', '0.5',0,'')

Using Joomla 2.5.8
Joomsef 4.2.9
Joomsef K2 Extension 3.0.12

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi there,

I have a small problem that I am hoping is easy to fix.

I am running a Joomla 1.5 Website that uses K2 for all of my website content. I have also installed the Joomsef component to handle my SEF urls and everything is working great in regards to that.

I am now looking at running an online store on my website. For this I have chosen to purchase the K2mart component which also requires Virtuemart. For those that don't know it basically just lets you add products to Virtuemart using the K2 component and it looks much nicer on the front end.

I have installed Virtuemart and K2mart on the website and I have also ran the VM to K2mart migrator to migrate the products from VM into K2mart. All went fine.

Now back to Joomsef. Under Joomsef / Manage Extensions I have installed the K2 Extension. Under the settings I have set Add category to URL to No. I use this for all of the content on my website and it works really well.

However, after installing and configuring K2mart and adding a link to my menu to access the K2 Mart Homepage in the area that lists my K2mart Categories I am not able to view the category because the URL to the view the category doesn't contain the category name - which i assume is a side effect of setting Add category to URL to No in the K2 Extension.

I have changed the Add category to URL to Yes to see if K2mart will behave and it does. However it also produces ugly SEF urls when browsing the rest of the website.

Meanwhile back in the Manage Extensions area under Components without SEF Extension installed there is a link to set paramets for K2mart. However there is no option that allows me to Add the category to URL. If it was there I assume it would fix the problem however it isnt so now I need a work around or advice from anyone on here who may have come across the same issue.

Any advice would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks

Rob
