I am trying to add a "golf tour" which is a 4 day tour. I need to set the system so that a customer can book for the tour over a four day period but only pay one single price ....

Please could someone tell me how this could be done ... thanks

Hello create daily reservation type with fix limit to 4. When you assigned price with this reservation type then value will be in reservation only once (not multiple 4).
