I am a customer but your system won't recognise me as a customer so I'm posting in the community support forum. Please help....

Installed the paid version of JoomSEF, saved the configuration. Tried to install ext_joomsef4_jreviews.zip and got this error message:
JLIB_INSTALLER_ABORT_DETECTMANIFEST
Error installing COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_SEF_EXT

Any ideas how to fix this please?

I should have said I'm on Joomla 2.5.19. Thanks for any help anyone can give. This looks like a bug with the installation file.

Hi,

Open Joomla's Plugin Manager and make sure that System - ARTIO JoomSEF plugin is enabled.

Hi, Thanks for the reply but that did not fix the problem. I still get the same error when I try to install the extension. Any other ideas, please?

Oh come on please, I bought a product which doesn't work. Can you please fix the product?

Hi,

We don't have any reports from other customers about this problem, so most likely there's some problem with your server configuration.

Please make sure that all the required directories are writable (you can check this in Site -> System Information -> Directory Permissions).
Make sure that System - ARTIO JoomSEF plugin is ordered as the first of system plugins - set its ordering to -1 to be sure (see screenshot).
You can also try downloading some free JoomSEF 4 extension to check if the problem happens only with JReviews or all the JoomSEF extensions: www.artio.net/download-free-version/joom...-4-x-extensions-free
