Hi there,

I have renewed my licence today and tried to upgrade from JoomSEF 3.8.3 to 3.9.3.
First of all I tried it throught the JoomSEF Upgrade manager, but it did not work.

Then I installed the new version through the Joomla Installation rountine.

Function wise, it looks everything was OK, however, I now have double menu entries in my Admin Menu.
Please see attached image.



Could you please advise, how to fix this menu matter.

Hi,
You'll need to use phpMyAdmin or similar tool to access your database and in the jos_components table find and remove the duplicate menu items.
Make sure to create a current backup of your website (using Akeeba backup for example) prior to doing so!

thanks for your advise.
It appeared that the installation had other big issues, so I had to completely uninstall and reinstall JoomSEF.

Now it is working OK and the menu isse was fixed as well.
