Update Problem 4.1.0 Fatal error: Call to a member 12 years, 7 months ago #24096

Hi,
i can't update to Version 4.1.0

Version Info
Installed version:	4.0.9
Newest version:	4.1.0
Registration Info
Registered to:	xxxx
Free upgrades available until:	05. Juli 2012
Online Upgrade to Paid Version
 


When i click on the "online update" Button I receive the following message during the installation process:
 
Fatal error: Call to a member function children() on a non-object in /..../tmp/install_4e75fb0fd21fb/install.php on line 56
 


Even if I downloaded the install package from the download arrea and installed it manually, I received the same error message.

Joomla Version is 1.7.0.


What should i do now?

Hello,
I have not hit this error before. Seem like some kind of missing library problem.

Anyway, new version should be released tomorrow, so hopefully you won't have this problem when upgrading.

A uninstall/reinstall solved this for me :)
