First of all I want to say - fabulous extension!

It's all working perfectly and I'm really impressed at how easy it is to write custom SEF extensions for new components.

However, I just wanted to mention, I think I found a bug.

When ever there is a letter 'z' in the url, it is stripped out.

Perhaps is because it's the last letter in an array or something?

for example:

mysite.com/articles/new_zealand/

becomes

mysite.com/articles/new_ealand/

hope it's easy to fix!

Hi David,

I think it is more likely that from some reason you have this letter in the list of letters to strip in the component configuration. We have tested it and 'z' letters have appeared as they should.

I got the same problem (missing the z in a url), checked if the z was in the list of letters to strip - it isn't.

I hope you can find out what's happening.

I checked the 'strip characters' field in the admin page before submitting the post.

The letter 'z' is definately being stripped out of the URL somewhere.

Other than that, fantastic extension.

Same here. 'z' gets stripped. (1.2.5)

what about the translation map? Isn't it possible the &quot;z&quot; letter translates to empty or space character for you? It is really difficult to say, because in our 1.2.5 installation, the &quot;z&quot; letters stays as expected.

Also, it is really &quot;z&quot; or may it be some other (UNICODE) character that is stripped? What is your encoding?
