Hello there. I am considering moving my site from a blogging software to joomla, and am trying to find a way to re-create the same URL's for my articles. In other words I want to have the same URL's that I have in the blogging platform version of my site when I move it over to Joomla.

Would JoomSEF allow me do this?

It depends on the form of your URLs. It could be probably possible, but you would probably need to set all the custom URLs manually.
You can try the free version of JoomSEF to see if it will work.
