Hi there,

we are getting the following error when Generate XML Sitemap.

 Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried toallocate 83 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/.../libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 466

There should be enough memory (128MB).
Another Sitemap component (xmap) works fine.

Server facts:

JoomSEF 3.8.2
about 10.000 URLs in Sitemap

PHP Version 5.3.2
Server API CGI/FastCGI
safe_mode On
memory_limit 128M

Is there a solution for this problem?

JerryG OFFLINE Posts: 15	It's a shame to see someone having fatal errors get ignored, especially when answering the question would have resolved similar problems faced by other users. Very poor support, and very poor programming to even have this problem in the first place. Thumbs down.

Hi again,

we got it working by our own.
the problem was the FastCGI Time Limit.

to solve the problem we created a special php.ini for the corresponding customer

max_execution_time = 600

hope this will help somebody. some more option you should look at:

 
safe_mode = Off
memory_limit = 128M
max_execution_time = 600
max_input_time = 600
mysql.connect_timeout = 600
default_socket_timeout = 600

JerryG OFFLINE Posts: 15	If I am understanding you correctly, your problem was that your pages were taking too long to be rendered, and that your solution was to bump up the max threshhold that the server allows. But the question remains as to what causes it to take so long to be rendered in the first place. You're treating the symptom rather than the illness.
