Hi,

I've just checked search results with JoomSEF and I see it generates a new SEF everytime I search, like search-1, search-2, etc. even with the same search term.
This could have potential database problems.

What is the best configuration for Search?

With default configuration, search related URL are not stored at all. The URL used should look like:
www.artio.net/search?searchword=searchedphrase

You can prevent this explicitely by setting "com_search" handler in JoomSEF configuration to "skip" or "no-cache".
