TOPIC: ERROR 404 after enabling joomla SEF

ERROR 404 after enabling joomla SEF 15 years, 11 months ago #15131

I followed the instructions and made sure I have .htaccess file in the root folder and my site is installed to the root so the # RewriteBase / is correct.
I still have Error 404 on all my pages except for the index site.

Please advise!

Did you get 404 from Joomla or 404 serverd by Apache?

I am not sure how to tell.. I think Joomla because you get that message with the red heading ..:)

ok, the problem had to do with joomfish. when I disabled it everything worked.
