I have joomla 1.5.16 and ArtioSEF 3.6.2
and with this version the plugin as no parameters

so I went to the ArtioSEF administration and, at global configuration ("Title and Meta Tags") set the "Use sitename in page titles:" to NO but the title is being showed any way.....

Is there anything else to set?

I set "Automatic canonical link generation" optin to "yes" but a diagnosis report from told me that the cononicalization was not set.. so I have installed "plg-system-jfinalizer" and "plg System - Canonicalization"

Now, canonical links are set.

What do you say about this?

Hi, did you clear the already existing URLs and cleared caches (all levels) after the configuration change?

What do you mean by "all levels"?
I did "Purge SEF URLs" and I did "Clear Cache" at JoomSEF Configuration Control Panel.

I can provide admin access, so this problem became solve once for all......

I had to install a 3part extension because my website was not set for canonicalization....... artio joomsef did not do it automatically.

I have also this unsolved problem so far:

That solve the problem.. but creates another problem by bloging always the same category when you have several menu items for several (different) categorys...

I did that already.
The result is the same

sorry for trouble you again but I have another item that I can not manager..

I can not set blog category for diferent categories...
See top menu "Noticias", "Campanhas" and "Testemunhos" menu items
(all diferent joomla categories...)

If I edit Extension Manager and set Content as "Show category" to "yes" blog the category menu item runs ok.
The problem is that for other main menu items, the name of the category is showed ("Geral" ) and I do not want that.

I have 2 licenses for JoomSef but this is my first post...

My problem at this time is that I need to remove the "geral" word from my URLs.
"geral" is the name of the category
I already have dig in JoomSef configuration with no success..
("Use index for sections and categories" is off/no)
