Then I am afraid it is not coming from JoomSEF, but from template / component.
In such case it will be needed to check the sources to detect the right place.

I have joomla 1.5.16 and ArtioSEF 3.6.2
and with this version the plugin as no parameters

so I went to the ArtioSEF administration and, at global configuration ("Title and Meta Tags") set the "Use sitename in page titles:" to NO but the title is being showed any way.....

Is there anything else to set?
