I see what you're saying, because it's a component URL I don't get the 404 page?

Actually in that case what i want is for it to redirect to com_kunena wherever it sees com_fireboard.

When you say "in the database," which table are you referring to?

FYI Changing the setting created a whole site of 404's.

What versions of Joomla and JoomSEF do you use?
1.5.26
3.9.8 according to the change log

Does this happen for any non-existent URL?
I don't know how to test that.

Could you post some example of URL that displays the default Joomla's 404 page?
www.planetherbs.com/x
www.planetherbs.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard

Is there an article named "404" created in Joomla? It should be created automatically by JoomSEF.

I'm afraid that had no effect. Any other ideas?

I've instructed artio sef to show a custom 404 page but Joomla is displaying the standard red page. How would I get support to help fix this?

Hello - I need to change all references to

com_fireboard
to
com_kunena

such as

http://www.example.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=50&id=3789&catid=7&func=fb_pdf

changes to

http://www.example.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=50&id=3789&catid=7&func=fb_pdf

How would I make it so every time it sees fireboard it's changed to kunena?

thank you.
