replace \"&$string = null\" in \"$string = null\" on line 897 in sef.class.php.

It works fine for me.

I miss in new installed JoomSEF german spezial charactars (Non-ascii char replacements).

Ü|Ue, ü|ue, Ö,Oe, ö|oe, ä|Ae, ä|ae, ß|ss

Ive same problem and found it.

Search for "echo 'path';" (Line 513) in sef_ext.php.
Delete or uncommented the line.
