Hi,

thanks a lot for your help.
I have some news on this topic...

I did some tests to the systems and got some ideas:

  1. The JoomSEF component can be disabled as soon as I reactivate the Jfrouter plugin. It seems that there the joomfish module for the language selection misses a value for the current selected language. This causes an php error and stops the output rendering. So this one is fixed, thanks for the hint with Jfrouter :-)
  2. The unwanted translation of JoomFish+ This was hat bit harder to get, but I activated System debug in Joomla and noticed that the russian language (ru-RU.ini) was loaded as last language file. So, after rearranging the languages in Joomfish to another ordering fixed this issue too. It seems that the main Joomla languages are overwriting each other and the last loaded file wins...

For now it seems to work but I'll have an eye on that.

Dajo, thanks for helping me. You gave me some nice impressions where to have a look at.

Alex

Hi, thanks for the response.

I use the latest JoomFish version 2.2.3 and JoomFish+ 2.6.0
Jfrouter is already disabled.

I attached a screenshot of the settings I tried to disable JoomSEF.

As soon as I disable one of these, the main screen only shows an empty site.
I can't have a look at PHP errors because I have no access to the server settings.

Hi,

I'm new to JoomSEF. I installed the current version and just bought a license,
because it works very well.

Unfortunately I experienced some problems and I don't know how to fix them...

1. Curious frontend button-translation in Joom!Fish plus
Since I activated JoomSEF I have only russian language translated buttons in the
Joom!Fish plus frontend component. Please check the attached picture.

2. I can't disable JoomSEF without breaking the site
As soon as I try to disable JoomSEF 3.9.8, the website won't load.
It doesn't matter if I try to load the Frontpage or any other page, only white screen...

I hope someone can help me to fix these problems.

Thanks
Alex
