I have mainmenu. There is Virtuemart menu item "Electronic" going to VM section "Electronic" in VM. Also i get submenu "Radios" under "Electronic" going to VM section "Radios".

When someone click on "Electronic" , URL is domain.com/electronic/electronic.html
breadcrumbs is "Electronic-Electronic"

When someone click on "Electronic/Radios", URL is domain.com/electronic/electronic/radios.html
breadcrumbs is "Electronic-Electronic-Radios"

Ok, i dont want to display menu title "Electronic" in URL, so i turned off "Show menu title" in Virtuemart extension in VM Ext. Manager in "Common" section.

Now i get :

URL is domain.com/electronic.html
breadcrumbs is Electronic

URL is domain.com/electronic/radios.htm
breadcrumbs is Electronic

So if I turn off "Show menu title", breadcrumbs got broken and it doesnt show right pathway. URL is without problem.

Any help please ?

I got Joomla 1.5.22 and JoomSEF 3.8.0 with JoomSEF VM extension 2.0.34 and I just upgraded to VM 1.1.7.

I have problem with checkout bar images and its links. I got links for checkout bar icons like :

www.domain.com/#CHECK_OUT_GET_SHIPPING_ADDR
www.domain.com/#CHECK_OUT_GET_SHIPPING_METHOD
www.domain.com/#CHECK_OUT_GET_FINAL_CONFIRMATION

So I Cant click on checkout bar images, to get back in checkout proccess.

Where should be problem ?

Ok, now I get #CHECK_OUT URL just for active checkout step. I think it is ok, but really dont know why i got domain.com/#CHECK_OUT. Should it be like domain.com/eshop/checkout/#CHECK_OUT .. or something
like that ? Because if I click on active checkout step, im forwarded to homepage domain.com/#CHECK_OUT.

And next problem is - Im on 3rd step of checkout (payment), I click on 2nd step (delivery) in checkout bar and Im automatic forwarded to 1st step of checkout (delivery address). So If I click on any non-active checkout bar item, im forwarded to 1st item every time..

Im not virtuemart newbie, i got lot of working virtuemarts (1.1.6), but this is strange..

My content extension settings is allready turned on to "Show category" and "Show section" - My SEF URL for article is without problem, it contains section and category.

i got problem with JReviews SEF plugin.

I created section/categories/directory in JReviews and section/categories in Joomla. I added items to Hidden Menu - like in install tutorial from JReviews. Than I added JReviews menu items to Main menu. I got structure like this :

Section:
Reviews (1)

Categories:
Game Reviews (1)
Movie Reviews (2)

Hidden Menu:
Reviews (Article Section Blog Item)

Main Menu:
Reviews (JReview menu item pointing to JReview section 1)
- Game Reviews (JReviews submenu item pointing to JReview category 1)
- Movie Revies (JReviews menu item pointing to JReview category 2)

URL for Reviews item is :
/reviews

URL for Game Reviews subitem is:
/game-reviews

URL for Movie Reviews subitem is:
/movies-reviews

URL for Game Reviews item
/reviews/game-reviews/review-of-game

As you see there is no section/directory name for subitem URLS. Should be better to get /reviews/game-reviews and /reviews/movie-reviews for subitems.

If I change "JoomSEF Handler" to "Default Joomla! router" in Jreviews extension settings, structure of URL are without problem - every subitem URL contains section name in URL.

Did I miss something ? Any idea ?

i just stuck with URL layout.

I have menu item - News (type Article/Section/Blog).

In ArtioSEF Manage Extensions I set up Content extension to :

Add Layout to URL - Never
Default Laoyout - Blog

I clear all urls, refresh page and I get generated URL for News menu item :

index.php?option=com_content&id=7&lang=cs&layout=blog&view=section&Itemid=38

I click on News menu item - everything looks ok - i can see blog type list of items from category News with intro text. But next refresh of page generates new url :

index.php?option=com_content&id=36&lang=cs&layout=default&view=category&Itemid=38

You see, layout from second URL is now default and every new visit of News menu item show list of items in category in list style - not blog.

If I switch Add Layout ot URL - Only when different from default, everything works ok but i got /blog/ layout on the end of URL - and I dont want it.

im using hwdVideoshare with ArtioSEF 3.x and your paid extension hwdVideoShare (2.1.0). Im also using hwdVideoShare search modul (mod_hwd_vs_search). Everything works ok, except searching results.

Result url for videos searching are all same :

www.domain.com/video-galerie/displayresults

I checked "Manage SEF URLs" in ArtioSEF and set filter to "displayresults". I got lot of same URLs:

Problem is, that displayresults SEF url is same for all searching and it displays results for Slovo1 everytime, because Slovo1 is first in list of SEF urls. So If I search Slovo2, Slovo3, etc.. i got result for Slovo1 and search title shows "Videos matching Slovo1" everytime - no matter what I type in search box.

Is there any way to turn off SEF urls for search modul of hwdVideoShare ?

issue 1 - print button
If I turn-off ArtioSEF and SEO in Joomla, all links got right url for print button with lang=cz or lang=english (depend on language version). If I turn-on default Joomla SEO with JFrouter, I got SEF links without any lang= in URL, BUT print preview page works without problem for both language. If I turn-on ArtioSEF and turn-off JFRouter, all print page icons urls got non-SEF, without lang= parametr and preview is in english for all languages. Page is formated like pure html/css, without any JS code.

issue 2 - home button
it is same problem as issue 1 - without default Joomla SEO and Artio it works without problem. With default Joomla SEO turn-on without Artio it works. With ArtioSEF turn-on it doesnt.

Any hints .. ? Or nobody uses multi language website with print icon showen ?

im using multi language website with english (default) and czech language. I turned on "Show Print Button Icon" for menu item to show print button for visitors. Somehow "print button" in czech content shows print preview with english language.

Any ideas ?

And second thing - ArtioSEF doesnt make sef url for print button, is this right? Should I buy some extensions to get print button with SEF url ?

Ok, and next one - Menu item "Home" - link to homepage - in czech version of site links to www.domain.com and not to www.domain.com/cz/

Yea, it works. I found someting about JFRouter before but I overlooked it in Plugins Manager. Now everything works without problem.

you are right there is no 'Turn on' button. If you installed JoomSEF Virtuemart extension without problem It should works.

I was installing lot of sites and it works like a charm everywhere.

If you check SEO URL database in JoomSEF Administrator, did you see there generated URLS for eshop items or not ? Try to Purge all URLS and Clean cache and Turn Off using cache for now. And reload page..

i dont know what is "VirtuMart Bundle" but you have to purchase these two things:

1) JoomSEF 3.5.5
2) VirtueMart JoomSEF 3 Extension

Install JoomSEF and than you have to install VirtueMart JoomSEF Extension via Extensions Manager in JoomSEF administrator. Turn on Virtuemart Extension and now all products should be SEO.

ok i just installed newest JoomFish and JoomSEF. I installed czech and english language to Joomla. I made default language to english (www.domain.com) and second language to czech ( www.domain.com/cz/ ). I created new menu item and content item with name "Contact". Then I translated menu and content item to czech language (Kontakt) in JoomFish. I purge SEO urls and refresh page. Now i got www.domain.com/contact.html and www.domain.com/cz/kontakt.html. Problem is when I access czech language for contact page i got 404 error.

Here is list of SEO urls in JoomSEF
cz/kontakt.html index.php?option=com_content&id=15&lang=cz&view=article&Itemid=20

When I access non-SEF URL www.domain.com/index.php?option=com_cont...rticle&Itemid=20 it works without problem. When I access www.domain.com/cz/kontakt.html I got 404 eror.

Please, give me some hints where should be problem.

im using JoomSEF long time.. Everything works without problem every time. But now I got a little problem and I dont know where should be problem.

I added product to cart, then I click to show my cart - everything ok - then i click CheckOut button (www.mysite.cz/eshop/cart/checkout/ssl.html) - then I should be redirected to registration form or to final checkout page, but I was redirected to main page of eshop (www.mysite.cz/index.php?&redirected=...tuemart&Itemid=2).

I checked generated SEF urls for checkout:

eshop/cart/checkout/ssl.html
index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=checkout.index&ssl_redirect=1&Itemid=2

If i turn-off JoomSEF component, it works without problem. Check out button link is www.mysite.cz/eshop?page=checkout.index&ssl_redirect=1 and im redirected to www.mysite.cz/index.php?page=checkout.in...tuemart&Itemid=2

It looks like there is a problem with some redirection.

i want to ask a few questions.

Im using Joomla 1.0.13 with Virtuemart 1.0.13a and with JoomSef 2.2.8 with VirtueMart Patch 1.1.3 . I just got a little problem with generating of URLs after purge/clean cache. I purge all SEO urls and I clean cache also. Now ,all URLs are generating again. Problem is, that i got about 5-6 subcategories in VM and JoomSef is not generating URL for all these subcategories on-fly. It generates just for few first subcategories but deeper subcategories are generated after i click to this submenus - than URLs are generated without problem and workin. But im not sure it is right, because im not able to click these subcategories (about 200 categories and subcategories with about 5000 products) again and again every JoomSef configuration change resp. after purge and clean cache.

Could you please tell me, how generating of URLs works and what I can do to generate all URL automaticaly after purge/clean cache?
