Hi there,

of course, we all do want nice URLs for our Gallery2 galleries, and so do I. I just started using SEF URLs and decided after some reading for Artio JoomSEF. I must say I like it. But when it comes to the Gallery2 bridge this seems to be a tough issue. But then the least thing is that you can use it without the nice URLs, but you can use your gallery. I didn't get this to work until Benson's post. Thanks a lot. Now, it works, but:

my page is in English and German with Joomfish. In German all works fine with old style SEF URLs and the look I want (just the Siriux theme). If you switch to English - which is the default language - it seems to be unable to load the CSS file from Gallery2. It displays with Joomla style CSS. Did anyone else have this strange behaviour? Any solution proposal?
Edit: after posting I returned to my site and gave it another try. It works now. Weird, but good :). Seemed to need its time. There was only one more small issue, but I don't if that's JoomSEF's fault. While browsing the gallery when switching the language you get back to the gallery's root instead of staying at the album/picture and just language switching. Any ideas?

The next step of course should be nice SEF gallery2 URLs like with the short URL plugin. The plugin itself shouldn't be needed for this, right? But anyone who knows how to do this could write the appropriate JoomSEF plugin. There are so many out there longing for it.

Cheers,
