I had the same issue and I deleted that file (I think it is a leftover from an older version as it was not present in other J3.2 sites I have.

Try renaming it and see what happens.

Sorry it has taken a while to rectify this but a bit busy towards the end of the year.

I had a try at doing what you suggested BUT if I select 'Ignore multiple sources' in Hikashop config, then all URLS become the same on the menu - all revert to the upper most url. So all menu items lead to the one category.

Thoughts?

I saw on the Paid support forum that there was an update.

Gave it a go and it works.

Hi, I have just tried to upgrade from Joomla 3.1.5 to 3.2 and backend is fine but frontend is blank.

If I turn of JoomSEF, frontend displays fine. Turn on JoomSEF, blank frontend.

This has happended on 3 sites some far (I have been able to restore via Akeeba)

Hi Dajo,

Active Handler is JoomSEF basic rewriting. Seems to be a bit random which categories are picked up in the url.

Within one category listing there maybe many with correct category and then rando ones that have non-related category.

This happens across 6 joomla/hika site I managne with JoomSEF.

(With the huge growth in popularity in Hikashop, it would be good to get this to work properly as, IMHO, your product is better in many ways than the competitors - hint, hint ;)

Ok, worked it out.

Operator error (isn't it normally the case)

Added an exclude word in configuration that affected the two urls in question 'contact'

Problem solved.

It is doing it again.

Cleared cahce and now the two urls in question are not translating into urls:

1) Hikashop - one url that was previous ok.
2) Contact Enhanced - contact link

The correct url is:
ac-motor/product/show/317/curtis-speed-controller-ac-motor-24v-350a

But there are a total of 16 with non-related categories at the start.
eg:

programmers-diagnostics/product/show/317/curtis-speed-controller-ac-motor-24v-350a
sepex-motor/product/show/317/curtis-speed-controller-ac-motor-24v-350a
power-tool-batteries/product/show/317/curtis-speed-controller-ac-motor-24v-350a

The added categories are for other non-related products.

ok... it has taken hours but I finally fixed it.

Seems something went awry when I went form dev to live 181.224.158.65/~bylongco/ to bylong.com.au/ and any new url was not recognised/seen by joomSEF.

So here is what I did:
BACKED UP - via Akeeba, myphpadmin (sef tables) and via cpane
1) Exported urls/meta I had in joomsef
2) Uninstalled both Admintools and JoomSEF.
3) Cleared Cache
4)Resintalled JoomSEF and ADMIN tolls
5) Imported URLS
6) Updated URLS
7) Cleared Cache.

Now new urls being created.

8) Update the two urls in question.

I have no idea why changing to resolved url would affect it.

Anyway, done now.

Hi, not sure what is going on but just went live on a site and for some reason sef urls are not being generated for to previous generated urls.

It was working fine on testing setup (181.224.158.65/~bylongco/) and just went live (bylong.com.au) and made all relevant changes for the live site.

For some reason it wont generate two specific urls:
1) Curtis DC Voltage Contactors (category selection main content) - Hikashop
2) Contact/Enquiry page. - Contact Enhanced.

If I turn it off and just use Joomla SEF,,, it works fine.

All else is good and I have been trying to nut this out for last 3hrs to no avail.

And thoughts most welcome....

Hi, I havve noticed this on a few sites I run and only now decided to address it.

EG:
Product
bylong.com.au/ac-motor/product/show/315/...ac-motor-36-48v-275a

Also has generated the url:
curtis-700-series/product/show/315/curtis-speed-controller-ac-motor-36-48v-275a

Which is a different category (curtis-700-series) not associated with that product,

As well as:
home/product/show/315/curtis-speed-controller-ac-motor-36-48v-275a

These are products generated in Hikashop.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Ignore multiple sources (Itemids) Yes

Cleared cache and it seems to be ok. Not sure why.

I have JoomSEF insatalled on sveral sites and am experiencing a very strange issue on one of my sites that I cannot get to the bottom of.

This site: invertech.com.au/ was working fine but I noticed yesterday that the menu on the left has the same urls for the parent items (home page) and the same for every sun item (happens to be the first submenu url on the list.

If I turn off JoomSEF, urls identify as expected.

As mentioned, I have similar setups on several other sites with no problem.

Joomla: 3.1.5
ARTIO: Lastest
HikaShop: Latest (basic JoomSEF url rewriting)
MaximenuCK : But same if use original menu

Any help on this Greatly appreciated
