403 error in admin panel when trying to browse doc 12 years, 3 months ago #44570

Error:
403 - An error has occurred.
You aren't allowed to access this folder.

Version = 3.4.3 Standard

Uninstalled 3.4.3 and installed latest v4.

Made sure document root as as it was in v3 and received this error.

Uninstalled v4, reinstalled v3, checked document root settings - still have this problem.

Files are in file system, database has correct entries.

Cannot use tool.

Please help.

Fixed the problem initial problem myself ... the install for some reason dropped off the 'documents' part of the document root location - so wasn't finding the files, etc [FYI the admin who initially set up JoomDOC put teh documents in a nested folder structure; i.e. /server/www/documents/documents (notice the double 'documents') that threw me out.
