TOPIC: Document Root (absolute path)

Document Root (absolute path) 10 years ago #43248

At the moment I'm testing the free version of JoomDoc (but in the future I'll need the webdav-feature ...).
On my unix server the absolute path to joomla is "srv/www/htdocs" and I save all my pics and pdf's and more under "images/stories" (absolute "srv/www/htdocs/images/stories"). So I wanted to set the JoomDoc Folder in images/stories too (Images/stories/JoomDoc).
But the entry "/images/stories/JoomDoc" in the Document-Root-field creates the folder "srv/www/htdocs/administrator/images/stories/JoomDoc".
The problem is, that all joomla-Users are wwwroot and the images/stories-folder is owned by wwwroot, but the srv/www/htdocs/administrator-folder is owned by root.

Hello,

You have to enter into document root field complete path "/srv/www/htdocs/images/stories/JoomDoc" not only "images/stories/JoomDoc"
