Documents URL is very strange

TOPIC: Documents URL is very strange

Using Joomdoc 4 with J2.5
I get URL of www.site.com/downloads for main category view, using menu item to point there.
than I have URL of www.site.com/downloads/sourcebooks, for subcategory containing files, again using menu item for pointing.

However, when I click on file I get strange URL:
www.site.com/downloads/sourcebooks/sourcebooks/example/detail
While document alias is example, the directory is called sourcebooks.
I would expect to just get
www.site.com/downloads/sourcebooks/example

Why does the URL includes sourcesbooks twice?
and why do I have the detail at the end?

This really drives me crazy and is bad url/routing practice

Hello, this is default Joomla routing. Default router cannot make nicer URL. If you need nicer URL then use JoomSEF.
