Hi,

Please check my site

test.guru99.com/

It is based on Joomla 1.7

I have installed paid version of SEF 4.

The site is upgrade from Joomla 1.5 to 1.7

If I set the "Default Joomla!Router" setting in the "Manage Extensions" for "Content" component.I get the following error in the front-end on every url I click on:

ERROR:'The page isn't redirecting properly'

I want the "Default Joomla!Router" setting for the "content" component as I have upgraded my site from 1.5 to 1.7

Please let me know what can be done to make this option work without any redirection error.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thank you for your report, it seems that Default Joomla router option doesn't work correctly with .html suffixes in current version. We'll fix it in next release.

This is extremely important to me. I can not upgrade my site without this functionality ... how soon can you fix this ?

Dajo,

My problem is I am upgrading from Joomla 1.5 to 1.7

Currently both links - test.guru99.com/software-testing.html and test.guru99.com/software-testing work.

I want only test.guru99.com/software-testing.html to work since all my linking building is to .html id's

I have 2 alternatives

1) I re-direct all legacy test.guru99.com/software-testing.html type links to test.guru99.com/software-testing links. And in future use only non- .html links. For this giver me the necessary settings

2) I enforce only .html links. For this you need to fix the Joomla Router option. BUT you need to provide me a date and time of fix. This is a professional component with paid support , if you cant provide me dates , how can I plan ?

I seem to have found a solution to the problem ---

I was earlier using Arito Joom SEF for Joomla 1.5

Now I upgrade to Joom SEF for Joomla 1.7

BUT

This upgrade is not registered in your records even though I paid for it

I am currently using Joom SEF 4.1.1

The latest version is 4.2.2

When I try to upgrade i get "COM_SEF_DOWLOAD_ID_INVALID You will obtain the non-paid version of JoomSEF when launching upgrade from ARTIO Server"

My download ID = f0233da...

Please fix
