With joomla standard language plugin I can use item associations functionality, but when I turn it off and turn on joomsef language plugin the 'association' tab disapears from the edit article view.

So question is there any way to use item associations with joomsef?

we had the same problem now, here is a system plugin which enable this feature if the option enabled in JoomSEF :)
