Where did the "Home Page URLs" go? It used to be under URL manager but now it appears to be gone.

There's "Show Links to Homepage" option in ViewMode filter.

I don't see this option.

I am on Joomla 1.7 using version 4. I am attempting to SEO the home page.

What is the exact version of JoomSEF you are using? In the format 4.x.x.
In the latest version, if you open Manage SEF URLs page, there's a ViewMode filter with this option.

I have just upgraded to version 4.1.1

I see the "show links to homepage" but it doesn't allow me to seo my home page.

Can you explain the steps?

Well just edit the home page URL and set whatever options you like. The most useful are probably meta tags.
