TOPIC: Joomla 1.7 Contact Form error using JoomSEF 4.1

Joomla 1.7 Contact Form error using JoomSEF 4.1 12 years, 6 months ago #24582

I recently tried adding a contact form to my joomla website. When the form is submitted I get the error:

"Language string failed to load: invalid_address: You must provide at least one recipient email address."

If I turn off JoomSEF 4.1 then I do not get the error and the contact form is emailed correctly.

I've tried some different settings in JoomSEF but have not been able to solve the problem.

Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?

Thanks,

Sean

Hi,

What is the exact version of your Joomla and JoomSEF? What contact form do you use? I've tried contact form in Joomla's Contacts component and it seems to be working correctly with JoomSEF 4.1.1.

I am using Joomla 1.7.1 and JoomSEF 4.1.1

I am using the joomla menus to link to a single contact. When I submit the contact form I get the following error:

"Language string failed to load: invalid_address: You must provide at least one recipient email address."

When I turn off JoomSEF, I do not get the error and everything works fine.

I try this on my development station, but all is OK.
