Hello I have a problem with the length of the meta tag description. If I try to insert the text in the meta tag description through "Mange SEF Urls" I have only a certain amount of character I can enter.

If I use the "Manage Meta TAGS" I can insert how many character I want but when I save the page it will cut my meta tag description to a certain amount of character.

What can I do so I can insert the meta description tag as long as I want?
The only way is to insert it directly from database?

dajo OFFLINE Posts: 5069	Hello, JoomSEF only accepts 255 characters for meta tags. You can change the "metakey" and "metadesc" columns in your database in "jos_sefurls" table from VARCHAR to TEXT, that way the Manage Meta Tags page will allow you to store longer text.
