Hi

JEvents extension not working.

I'm getting - Not Installed - under Component heading in Installed SEF Extensions, even though it says it installed successfully.

I'm running Joomla 1.5.15 and JEvents 1.5.2

I can confirm this problem. The same by me !!
The .xml and .php-files are uploaded but in ext-management I see "not installed".
More than that it seems that JoomSEF is causeing a problem regarding the creation of
new locations when entering the location-management of JEvents via frontend.
I discussed this Problem meanwhile with Geraint from JEvents, we played around with lot's of
possibilities, but no (positive) result.
When disabling JoonSEF and using only Joomla SEF all works as expected.

Need help uregntly !!

By any chance were you installing the FREE plugin?

I found another JEvents plugin under the paid section. I brought it, installed it, and now all is fine.

The FREE version (ext_joomsef3_events.zip) is only 2.52KB whereas the paid version (ext_joomsef3_jevents.zip) is 5.05KB

thanx for your hint. Meanwhile I installed also the paid version. So far most of the stuff works oK.
The problem with trhe location-management is still not working but I found a workaround for my installation.

Another thing I detected is that working with Joomfish is not clear. But this I will post in another thread.

Hello, there is now new version of JEvents extension available. If you have any problem, then upgrade it please.
