TOPIC: Problems with prices rounding and totals

Problems with prices rounding and totals 11 years, 2 months ago #36612

Hi.
I don't know if it's a bug in VM or VMinvoice, but we're having problems with roundings and final total.
Given the attached item details, the bare sum is 288.57, adding shipping results in 312.54€, adding 21% VAT 378,17, but Invoice's total in invoice is 378,12 €.

I checked VM settings and all the pricing rounding is set to "-1" except the "Standardized price" which is 2.

This is a big problem because the customer receivres an invoice with wrong numbers... While a 0.01€ gap is acceptable, more is not.

Using VM 2.0.14.
thanks

Hello,
there are rounding settings available in "Invoice Configuration" / "Invoice Items Configuration".
You can set, whether the numbers are taken from VM directly or recalculated in VM Invoice.

Also, please make sure you are using latests versions.

I upgraded to 2.0.22 but I'm still having some problems.
I added a new order from VMinvoice backend, in invoice items configuration i set math round, use of rounded vals in tax summary.

The ending values are:
Product net: 312.50
Tax: 65.58
Total: 378.08

But if I do some manual math: (312.50/100) * 21 -> 65,625

There's something wrong even with smaller numbers.
We've a product with base price 4.54545.
Adding an order from the backend of 3 of the above items generates a row total of 16.49, while the raw math is:
4.54545 * 3 * 1.21 -> 16,4999835. The above value should be 16.50, then...
