We cannot get JoomSEF to redirect 404 errors to ANYTHING other than (Front Page).
If we set the 404 page to (Custom 404 page) or anything else, we will only get a blank page.

404s are being logged in JoomSEF, so we know that JoomSEF is seeing them.

This worked several months ago.
The ISAPI rewrite rules have not changed.
JoomFish is working great with JoomSEF.

Further weirdness: As a test, I added the com_404_redirect plug-in to see what would happen.
This is working properly - it is redirecting to the search page.
SO, that means that JoomSEF is certainly going to the Custom 404 page (since the 404_redirect PHP code is in that page), but why isn't it displaying the Custom 404 page?

Any ideas?

Instead of the Default JoomSEF 404 page we are getting a 'blank' page for all wrong URLs. A work around is to set the 404 Page to the (front page).

Will there be a JoomSEF extension for the language translation module, JTRans by Joomlaspan ( www.joomlaspan.com ). This uses Google and Yahoo translation.

It currently does not operate properly when JoomSEF is on.

Thanks. I found that page quite by accident.

It may be a good idea to have your program automatically clear the 404 page hit counter as part of normal operation...I run many websites for clients and would hate to have '404' come up as the Favourite Page on a client site!

Joom SEF is working fine on GoDaddy servers. You may want to let people know that it can take up to 30 minutes or more for changes in the HTACCES file to become active on GoDaddy.

So, while I was testing, I generated quite a few 404 errors.
How to remove the &quot;404&quot; page from showing up on the Most Popular pages module?

I have tried purging all the links and creating them again, etc.
Usually the way to remove a document from the Most Popular module is by going into the article and reseting the HITS counter to zero; no way to do this with the default JoomSEF 404 page...
