I have the same problem, however I have installed and published the Spanish language for both sides: the site and for administration.

I use: Joomla 1.7.3 and JoomSEF 4.22.

If I disable JoomSEF, the automatic language selection by Joomla working properly and the language of the site is consistent with the language of the browser.

Please could help me solve this annoying problem?

In previous versions (3.x) I know how to set to not show the section and also use the alias of the articles. However in the current version 4.1.1 does not find a way to configure it the same way.

domain.com/category/alias-title-of-document.html
domain.com/section/category/alias-title-of-document.html

Version 3.x have in configuration options like:

Show Section?
Show Category?

In version 4.1.1 i don't know how to remove /section/ from url.

I'm migrating a large site that uses version 3.0 and was configured to not include the sections in URLs. It is very important to get to keep the same urls to keep rankings in search engines.

Surely it will be easy to set this version does away with the sections and also use the alias of the articles, but I really can not find the right way to configure it so.

Please can you help me find the right choice to do these two things?

After installing the extension for kunena forum from the panel by clicking on "install from Artio server" if enable this extension I have the following error:

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function setQuery() on a non-object in /public_html/site_beta/components/com_sef/sef.ext.php on line 89

I'm using:

Joomla 1.7.1
com_kunena 1.7
Artio Joomsef 4.0

Any idea to solve this?
