I wasn't able to get this to work, my knowledge of mod_rewrite isn't good enough. I included the following line in my .htaccess:

RewriteRule ^(.*)-([0-9]{1,2}).php$ parentinginholland.nl/$1.php [L,R=301]

Going to this page:
parentinginholland.nl/articles/baby-massage-2.php

Redirected to here:
parentinginholland.nl/index.php/baby-massage.php

So the category was replaced by the homepage. Any ideas what I should change ?

Also any idea why these duplicate URL entries are being created ? I also have them for content which is only available via one menu item, so am confused !

I'm looking at options in the custom URLs, where the meta tags and title are. There is a message in that section: "Please note that JoomSEF Mambot must be installed and published for meta tag functionality to be working. You may also wish to deactivate Joomla! standard meta tag generation in your site global configuration."

I Googled "JoomSEF Mambot" and came up with ONE result. What is this mambot ??

I can get keywords working but not description or title, so need to find the mambot !
