I followed the instructions this thread: www.artio.net/support-forums/joomdoc-doc...d-joomdoc-link-again, but added an extra } sign at the end of the code snippet to avoid a parse error.

When I first used the code snippet provided by USDC_OREGON I also got the parese error (expecting T_Function).
So I added an extra '}' sign (without the quotes) at the end of the code snipper ans it seems to work for me. However, I have no idea whether or not this addition affects other functionality of JoomDOC.

Hi,

I have Joomla! 1.5 and JoomDOC 2.0.2 installed. In general this works okay, but I encounter one small but annoying problem.

In the settings I have enabled (activated) the plugin Editor button - JoomDOC link. When using this from the backend in het TinyMCE editor I can upload files and place a link in the article I am editing at that time. This is the way it is supposed to work, I guess.

If a registered user wants to edit an existing article (or add a new one) from the forntoffice, he can see the JoomDOC button below the edit window. However, clicking this button he only can download the earlier linked file. In other words, he cannot edit the link (change the linked document e.g.) or add a new document link.
I have tried changing the users rights for the frontend user (up to the level of administrator), but that doesn't make any difference; adding/changing a document link as a frontend users doesn't work.

Does anyone have an idea what is going wrong here? Thanks in advance.
