this website gets high ranking when I use Googel (Norway) to search for the word "søkemotoroptimalisering".

In fact google reads the word "søkemotoroptimalisering" out of the word "S%C3%B8kemotoroptimalisering" and this is awesome!

I'm looking for something similar, but I'm not able to use the link S%C3%B8kemotoroptimalisering through joomsef. I get a 404.

Take a look at www.optimalisering.net/GoodURL.jpg and you will better understand my needs!
Since this board doesn't display the UTF-8 characters correctly, the image will better show my issues.

By using S%C3%B8kemotoroptimalisering.html I will get a superb ranking advantage in Google, and this has HIGH priority !

Rewrite keywords: Yes.
Prefer JoomSEF title: Yes.

There are noe more parameter options available.

Could you also describe how this is beeing done technically?
Will the use of special characters in JoomSEF create 404 pages, or is the JoomSEF operations not &quot;replacing&quot; URL's, but only forwarding to internal content?

2. I also want to know how I may disable the use of the dynamically generated &quot;site name&quot; in meta tags and X-Meta-Description from Joomla.

I want to completely control ALL meta data from within Artio JoomSEF.

Since the Attio in fact made a SEF/SEO application it makes me wonder why this problem has not been solved. This should be a basic before even publishing the software.

I find it hard to accept that I manually have to create &quot;read more&quot; links from a static frontpage if I want to solve this problem. Isn't this why CMS systems was developed - to stop doing this?

I like JoomSEF, and I find it very useful, but I cannot publish it on the net before this problem is solved, and therefore the application is useless.

I use V 1.5 registered version (paid), and I still have the duplicate content problem.
I have been looking for a solution for weeks with other JoomSEF versions and was hoping this would be solved in this version, but it is not.

Perhaps the problem is not within JoomSEF, but in Joomla, but there has to be a way to stop the generation of multiple content.

This is a big SEO issue.

Hi! I have been using Artio Joomsef for a while, and I have the same problem as you. I use JoomSEF 5.0 (Licensed/Paid version).

When I add an Item to the frontpage I get file.htm, but if you go to the &quot;SECTION&quot; there will also be a duplicate file-2.htm in the section.

This is a major problem since Google recently adverticed that they are going to give penalties for duplicate content.

Since JoomSEF is a SEO component I am a bit dissapointed that this is not beeing fixed.

How may we solve this?
1. Stop publishing items to the frontpage (Not a good solution indeed, but working)
2. Stop using Sections (Eighter not a good solution, but working)

I have solved the problem by using a static item on the frontpage with manually created links in the txt, but this is expected to be a short term solution.

When disabling Joomsef, clearing all caches and enabling it again, it works until a user is posting a item to the frontpage. Then, viola, duplicate content again!

Is this a Joomla Issue or a JoomSEF problem?

Need a working solution!
Please help!
