No feedback from other users does not mean they didn't have the same problem. Maybe they :

- fixed the problem without opening a topic on this forum

- kept the default configuration which is not pretty awesome (that's my advice...).

- customized URLS one by one

Writting the same keywords twice or more isn't good for SEO because you get larger URLs and search engine like Google don't display the whole URL when it's too large.

I found out by myself.

Go to manage extensions and edit the "content" extension. In common tab, set "Add menu title to URL" to "No". You will get the default joomla URL scheme.

That's so complicated... Why is this option set to "Yes" by default ?

In addition, I will recomend to go in "Extension tab" and set :

- "add layout to URL" to "Never"
- "Default Layout" to "blog

Otherwise, all category blog URLs will have the word "blog" at the end of their URL.

There are a lot of little text mistakes like the info bubble "How to handle the layout fieldeter" of the "Add layout to URL option". If "fieldeter" is a real word what does it mean ?

I think there's a lot of things which could be changed by default. It will avoid people wasting time with a product they paid for...

Hello

I have a paid version of Joomsef 4 on joomla 3.4.1. It generates urls like this :

domain.tld/menu_item_alias/category_alias/article_alias

I was not able to find the setting to change this format even in professional configuration. Is there any way to change it ?

I do not understand this default behaviour. Either we use the default joomla format (domain.tld/menu_item_alias) or we use a custom one (domain.tld/category_alias/article_alias) but not both! It creates doubloon (words) and makes URLs longer.

I know it's possible to edit URL but it's a hard work especially when there's a huge amount of URLs.

Thank you
