I managed to solve the problem.. it was a mix of set-up, urls, htaccess, and file permission problem;
In order to get the all thing working again I had to re- setup the .htaccess, delete all URL, turn off Artio JS + Plug-ins.. restart all again as spec's, import saved urls, clear all cache and "et voilat"... I had the Test site working again.. I do not have an idea how things went so bad.. I just used the upgrade feature button to upgrade to the latest version and stopped working........ Just one more question... the site was recently fired-up by cloning the "live" site (I used a bkp files) could this be the possible cause?????

many thanks .....now works using this configuration: Jfrouter On, Filter system variables Off, Creation of new SEF Urls Disabled, all the rest On..... but now how to use it once new urls are needed??? Should import the SEF urls from the live site, but then how to manage the needed new ones?? Do them manually will be a major work to carry on daily or is there another way to generate them??...

Hi Folks,
Our web site does not work anymore after upgrading Artio JomSef from 3.6.3 to 3.6.5... all urls, Hot property or not, all Joomla site, all links, all menus return the following Error 404 "The requested URL /it/............... .html was not found on this server." That for any kind of url; the site is back ok with Artio J.S. off and site sef control off (Joomla); this on the test site (a clone of the live site), the live site, still with 3.6.3 , still works perfectly......... Somebody else experienced that???

I made few questions since August regarding the "possible" availability for a new H.P. extension compatible with the latest JoomSef version... As a bit of time passed and no answer yet I'm posting to you the same question as H.P. vrs 1 is running quite well now, so peoples like me are starting to move on, but we do not like to loose the older JoomSef version good job...

thanks for your reply, my request was forced by the vrs. 1 of HP that needs joomla 1.5 or more; currently my old site is joomla vrs 1.1 and HP 0.98 and ARTIO JoomSEF v2.2.5 , but I'll not pubblish the new 1.5.7 site (almost ready) untill I will be able to use JoomSef 3.1.x with H.P. as pubblish now means loose more than one year of SEF urls good job..
I'll wait your answer then decide what to do and where to buy..

As regular costumer, I sent a short e-mail to the support team and to Michal to have some info when Artio think to release (if) a new 3.0.2 compatible version for the H.P. extension....
Some peoples like me (not many probably) are migrating now to Joomla 1.5.7 and H.P. vrs 1 and we are currently pubblishing the new version site soon...... Should we think to move to a different product?? is the Artio Team thinking to provide the extension.. My first mail was on August 4th...no answer... please give us at least one (1)

just download the latest version and install the relative mambot, as you enter in the /admin/mambot and you enter in the Artio jomSef metabot, you will have the possibility to change all your web site title behavior..

I had the same problem in the past, to fixit, install the new 2.2.2 version and the new JoomSef bot then you will have the ability from the bot to decide how your site name has to be....

For any category, section etc etc the page title is perfectly.. in my set-up, I choosed to have the category before the site title.. and works fine...

I did not cleared the Artio cache and I did not clean (erased) all SEF urls.. should do that to properly test or that mod to the metabot or does not need the total wipe out???

Any more ideas/help..... Sorry to disturb you but I'm not a php expert so any help is like gold for me... so many many thanks

I fond that the JoomSef bot is adding and that you can switch of, but then even categories pages titles are without the web site title; any way just to remove the duplication of the title from the main home page and leave that function for all the other sections of the site??

I'm not an expert, so probably my configuration is not as should be, is possible to have the generated URLs from:
www.veronicacentro.com/veronica-centro/appartamenti-centro.html

to

www.veronicacentro.com/appartamenti-centro.html

I understand that this part /veronica-centro/ refer to my component (Hot Property), so any url generated by this component has it, other menu component does not have it such the legal info section for example:

www.veronicacentro.com/condizioni-di-utilizzo-e-privacy-2.html

Somebody can help me or at least tell me if possible or not??

I just installed the latest version and then upgraded my hot property ext for jomSef; all it seems to be working fine even with jomfish that in the past was not, the only problem that I have is that the home page title is duplicated, I mean in the title bar you see the web site title repeted two times... Any idea how to solve it???

Yes it seems that ARTIO has no care about anwering to costumers that have problems... we also submitted a ticket and we are willing to pay for a solution and/or hacking, but no reply at all.
Somebody wrote into another forum, that if you post any bad comment on their service/product they remove it... I hope this is not right, as the product is WOW and the company seems to be professional...

I purchased HP extension for joomSEF, but I got a problem with the 2nd language (english) of my site www.veronicacentro.com, it looks like if you click to any category of the types menu (on the left) the URL is not correct, so the browser jumps back to the home page, same story if you are within a property and you switch to the english/italian language, the URL are wrong, it looks like the types menu URLS are not translated

The only way to get it working is to correct the url manualy into the custom URLs, but as I have more than 300 properties is not aplicable this way

Any idea any help??
