What I understand of, you don't need to put anything or you can put whatever extension you like.

I'm a newbie, I took that out of my readings and searches so if I'm wrong, please correct me.

I have just installed JoomSEF and I found out that my Home link in the site has been given a page name of: page-4.html which I find particularly ugly and unfriendly.

I tried to modify this using the 301 pages AND by modifying the actual SEF url. It will recreate a page-*.html page for the home page.

Is there a reason why and how to modify this to index.html for example.
