Is there a way I can redirect all my old blog links from Joomla articles to K2 articles?
I have reently updated my blog pages to K2 and added the K2 extensions. new pages are working well but all old links need to redirect to the K2 content. Have tried to add 301 redirects for some but these don't appearto be working. Bit frustrating as many social links to old urls are now broken.

Hate to new urls are way too long.

We have been seeing issues on one of my sites using ARTIO SEF 4 version 4.7.7

Our developers have taken a full backup and re-installed on a new server to text. But they noticed that there were loads of additional triggers to the database caused by ARTIO when using the backup of the website. When they switched off ARTIO this stopped and the site functioned well.

So need to understand why ARTIO is causing so many addition triggers to the database and how to solve the issue.

If it is just the reason we are on a test server not registered to the App then we can just switch off on the test site while we make the updates and activate again when back on the main site.

ok managed to fix this by going into extensions > manage > manage and search for SEF. There was an existing plugin for SEF URL registered to ARTIO which I uninstalled. Then when I reinstalled the component the plugin was readded and the sefurls tabel was added to my database successfully.

I am unable to install the SEF component

I tried to remove existing component and reinstall and now I am unable to install

This site is a site that has been reproduced from an existing site which already had ARTIO SEF component but have bought new version with new domain name.

Running Joomla 3.8.2

I took a look in the database and saw that the table existed but has _BAK on end of name. If remove the _BAK then I loose the missing error but get another error in 2nd image attached

I am getting an unresponsive script when trying to open the sitemap page within ARTIO SEF 4.6.10.

This causes Firefox to to freeze unless I stop the script. See attached.

this only appears to be effecting FireFox as was able to open the link and generate new XML using Chrome.

All product links are broken.
Running:
Joomla 3.6.2
Hikeshop 2.6.3
ARTIO SEF 4.6.9
Hikashop Extension 3.0.5

If I turn off JoomSEF and JoomSEF plugin then the links will work again.

So it appears that the urls being created by ARTIO SEF and Hikashop extension are not working.

Please help fix this.

I have created several 301 redirects from old urls and mapped them to the new urls. These were all working fine but now when I try to add new 301 redirected the redirects do not work.

I have the Zoo extension added to my site as well as the Virtuemart extension.
The virtuemart is generating all the meta descrioptions and tags for each product. But none of the Zoo article and pages have any meta details created.

Why are the meta details not created for my zoo article and how can I make sure that they are created?

Running Joomla 3.4.8
ARTIO SEF: 4.6.5
Zoo extension: 3.0.12
Virtuemart Extension: 3.1.5

I have also noticed that sometimes the virtuemart urls break break the layout and I have to purge the urls to fix the site.

I have tried to remove the manufacture from the url in virtuemart.
I have the VM extension and set all options for manufacture url to no. But it is still adding the url or string to the url.
For instance I have my VM Store and then categories for each mufacture and then their sub brands. But the url would read store/category/manufacture or store/category?virtuemart_manufacturer_id=6
I simply want to urls to show the category route and no refereance to manufacture as these are already the same as the category names.
How can I do this?

discovered the issue. It was a line that was created in the htaccess that redirected the site to a directory within the server. This must have been created which the site was in build mode and once the domain was redirected to the server then the route was no longer applicable as you were already in the directory that it was pointing to.
I had to use Akeeba admin to recreate a new htaccess without this line as Joomsef had already created the initial htaccess that was wrong and did not correct it.

Actually the error is also appearing on some standard Joomla pages as well. I notice that the url that is created sometimes adds ~probeauty/ in front of the page alias. ie. www.probeautytraining.co.uk/~probeauty/funding instead of www.probeautytraining.co.uk/funding. The ~probeauty is the default server location when going via IP instead of domain name.
Don't know what this is being added. Currently looking as resetting htaccess and then checking settings in ARTIO.

I am using Ohanah event organiser on my site to book courses. But sometimes I get 404 error pages which I goe to a course page. If I clear the ARTIO SEF cache and then reload the page then everything loads fine.
I currently have the extension for Ohanah set to component router.
How can I make sure that this loads correctly?

I don't know why the categories are still being added to my urls. I have set the extension manager / content to not include categories in urls. Deleted all urls, purged urls, cleared artio cache, cleare site cache, cleared browser cache. But still the categories are being added to my urls.
What else do I need to do to remove the categories from my urls?

I have multiple domain names directing to my website. I want to redirect all domain names to a single domain name so as not to incur duplicate content issues with Google.

How can I do this?

I have noticed that there are many urls that are being may that forward to 404 page on my site. Don't know why there are so many. I see 63 different url redirects in the url manager. I also see that the most popular article on my site is the 404 page. Why would this be creating so many links to this page?

I have thousands of errors in my site log all relating to JoomSEF.
The error log grows at about 2Mb per minute and soon kills the server and site completely.
When I check this morning the error log was 24Gb. I have had to delete this and turn off all error reporting.
But now I need to find out what is causing all these errors all of a sudden.

The Hikashop SEF extension for ARTIO SEF is not listed in the extensions list. Can you confirm that there is a Hikashop extension available and how much it cost?

Is it possible to set a redirect to change links that are sent to alias urls to default to main url?
For instance I have just set up a new website with artio component. Enteq.com
But the customer also has 2 other domains that are directing to the same location. Enteq-kms.comEnteq-xxt.com

We would like to make the default the first url.

How can we do this?

I have changed the content/extension to not display category in url and also disabled add name to url in the common tab. Then purged urls and cleared both sef cache and joomla cache but the urls are still the same.

If I look at the urls manager I don't see any urls that are locked.

Is there anything else I should set or clear to fix this?
