We are preparing new version for Book it! 1, which should have same features like 2nd version. It will be probably last release for Book it! 1 and other version will be only repairs for actual functionality.
Book it! 2 is new component and we can not guarantee compatibility with older versions. For this reason you can not update to version 2. But if you still want it, we can change your license from Book it! 1 to Book it! 2, then you will be able to download new version from download area. But as I said, both versions are not fully compatible and you can have some issues during this upgrade. It will be ideal if you completely remove old installation also with database tables (make backup of database) and install new booking. Then you can try to import data from backup.
